Acerca de esta escucha

Change is the only constant, and not all change is good. The change most recent for Tristan Walker was all the free time he now had after finding his girlfriend in a compromising position with a few other people. He went back to his normal routine of life and had mostly forgotten the indiscretion when he found himself waking on his couch after a bright flash of light, with two suns hanging in the sky.

Unable to stay in the snowy mountains where his house appeared, he must set off and find a new place to live in this world. And he might not have to do it alone either, as he’s not the only one from earth on this new planet. With a weird shop system that turns killed animals, beasts, and monsters into credits, there is a whole system worth of things to buy.

Yeah this was really good, it is a slice of life with a system where the name of the game is survival. book 1 has the mc isekaid to a new world where he finds rather quick how ruthless the new world is. then the rest is preparing to survive a brutal deep winter with new companions. honestly I probably going straight to but the next book on kindle. I really liked the story except for how descriptive the goblin scene was

Awesome

fun title, descent writing, but a very creative world building format. feels like a ride, natural and unscripted

spicy

really liked the story and world. book needs polishing but has good bones for a fun and unique adventure!

interesting new world

started off great but zero plot development. only goal is to survive. the antagonist is the weather...

too much world building

the stat sheets are listed too much. too much math conversions to the point it feels like I'm playing a game instead of listening to a story. needs more progression in the story line maybe some character development.

has a lot of potential!

The storyline and writing are horrible. There is no plot development. There is too much stat/level interaction. It is used as a crutch to explain away stuff in the story. The story is dark with some seriously messed up parts. The girls are one Dimensional at best. Relationship building is nonexistent, stuff just happens with no build up.

Poor writing

SPOILERS FOR UP TO CHAPTER 3

So pretty graffic with a rapes scene early on, but I probably could have dealt with it as story line in F'd up new world. However, when effectively drugged women ask the main character to essentially rape them, and he justifies it to himself I was done. Love Isekai and system novels, but couldn't even get through 3 chapters. I can get through some crap stories, so this is an accomplishment.

Probably Harem, but couldn't get that far (Spoilers)

The narrators' performance is excellent.

Most of the story is derivative and rather generic for the genre. Some of the story reads like a manual or a phone book/Yellow pages. At some point you get 30 minutes of pure stats being read to you about people you just met. Another point in the “story”, we are experiencing how to build a house. There's no real antagonist, plot or story. The author introduces many characters with unusual names, making it difficult to get a clear sense of each character's personality. The biggest problem for the protagonist is preparing for winter.

Terrible book.

The good can't outweigh the bad.
