The world has had years to change. The infected dead roam the streets and the forests in search of living victims. No one knows how the virus started, but even less is known about how to stop it. All the survivors can do is try to outlive it. Cities have fallen before the hordes of infected, but a small band of survivors has fought back by locating and liberating a network of shelters built by the government during the Cold War. Their goal is to unite enough survivors to eventually turn the tide of death in the favor of the living.

love the split group story telling and how they will meet towards the end of the book.

I don't like that ed and jene are no longer in the series. jene is better than Cassandra and Colleen. and ed is better then tom for sure and is the original mud island survivor. the series isn't the same without them. the series can get repetitive

Such a fun ride

I didn’t sleep for two days finishing book 7 and then this one and I don’t regret a minute! This series is such a fun ride it’s definitely a favorite in the ZA!

ive loved every book to this series so far. im feining to know what happens next. kinda got sad that im gonna have to wait 5 days for the next audiobook to be released. i love the mud island family.

Really good series but the narrator kicks it up a notch! I have really enjoyed the series but there a more a lot of characters to keep up with so it gets confusing sometimes. Other than that, I have no issues. Definitely a must read.

Great story and book series

I’ve been a fan of this series for a while now, so it was a surprise to me when this came across in my Audible interests. I thought the author had stopped doing Audible books. I loved this series of books and embarrassed that it took me 2 years after the release to find and listen to it. I hope the author continues this series and gets the Chief to Atlanta to deal with this militia.
