Worth the wait....

Was looking forward to these books as a fan of the Arisen series. Absolutely worth the wait and great to be taking on the plague with Gunny Fick again. Well-written and brilliantly narrated.

Great, just great from start to finish. It could have been longer is my only complaint.

Non-stop action

I enjoyed these stories. It is very interesting to go back and see how life on the carrier evolved before the Arisen books. Fick is hilarious!

Yaz is the worst character

I love the fact that we are finally getting more of the story to Fick and the boys but I have to say that I can't wait for Yaz to get killed. He might be the most obnoxious, self destructive, detriment to a team of front line marines ever. His only hope for redemption is to die in such fashion that it saves multiple marines to make up for the ones he gets killed.
Have to mention RC Bray out here just killing it as usual.

Good series!

Characters are great! I loved Master Gunnery Srgt Thicke/Fick he has the best lines! Yaz does need to man up though!

Outstanding!

Fuchs accurately captures mannerisms and culture door-kicking knuckledraggers. He describes a different approach to the “ZA” with the fears of peripheral contamination. Well written and entertaining.

Excellent

A perfect storm of a great story, great dialogue, and great narration. Has all the hallmarks of the original series with strong characters that you want to hear more about, and the timely hilarious dialogue in the middle of gut wrenching situations.

I love Arisen.

Give me spinoffs or anything related to the series. This is one of my favorites authors.

I love just about EVERYTHING that RC Bray narrates!

Great storylines, easy to follow chapter switches, excellent all-around listen, made all the better by RC Bray's fantastic narration skills.

Listening to R.C.Bray read the brilliant prose of Michael Stephen Fuchs felt like saying hello to old friends. I love being back, and Fick is an absolute delight. If this is your first read in the series, go back and lose yourself in the pipe-hitting military zombie goo of the first books. Like me, you will plead for the return of post-apocalyptic adrenaline!
