About this listen

The Guild of Arcane Regulation has fractured, and new forces move on the board. Callum cannot quite declare victory, for even a weakened GAR still forces him to hide from the world at large, yet he is no longer prepared to run. Instead, he builds his own strengths to stand against those who wish to do him harm.

Change, once started, is hard to stop. Callum’s actions have brought change to the world of the supernatural, but that can bring chaos and destruction even as he eliminates tyranny and corruption. He has to move beyond being one man against the world and stand in the world he’s made.

Come on

leaving the book on that cliffs edge is going to be the reason I'll have to buy the next book.

Loved it!

I absolutely loved it!

The only thing I find annoying at all is the narrator's voice when doing some of the fae voices. I'm not sure how you'd term it, "flowery", "nasal", etc, but I don't like it.

The story is so much fun. The main character just being so insanely paranoid is just a lot of fun.

Great story, ok Narrator

I love this story, I just have a hard time dealing with the Minnie Mouse voice used for Lucy.

A good continuation

The world continues to change as the old ways break down but the replacements are still not in position. The supporting cast is great in this book, especially Felicia and Ray.

I am very much still enjoying the serise so please take the bellow complaints as whinging and nit-picking.

Callum is becoming less interesting as a character. He's still thinking with portals. The magic research is fun but he did not experience any character growth. To me it felt like his growth was all Lucy.

I find the falsetto that Jeremy Frazier uses for Lucy grading. His other female voices, eg Gayle are fine.

this is an amazing story and world

No spoilers, the story and everything about the plot I love but it can be a little slow with sudden burst of action, kinda like real life. Hope there is more exploration soon

Great story - please split the narration

This guys female voice is almost unbearable and I loved the story. You have to split this up next time or get a new main voiceZ

Finally some magic progress

I'm happy that Callum finally started to do some hard-core magic research and experiments. it's been a long time coming. I'm excited to see what the final book has to offer.
