About this listen

Ascending should have been the easy part.

But after being thrown into the void, Thorn finds himself stranded in a strange world filled with even stranger creatures.

Together with his cute battle pet, the mysterious god beast Hati, and a sentient AI named Eve, Thorn must forge a place for himself in this new world. Unfortunately, the local guilds all have other ideas, and soon the Titan finds himself embroiled in plots that even his famed strength cannot help him with.

Rallying his strengths and learning how to fix his weaknesses will be the absolute minimum Thorn needs to survive, but if he wants to thrive he’ll be forced to take risks that put his life—and the lives of his friends—on the line.

Forgemaster is the first book in the Tower Series, a GameLit/LitRPG series from Seth Ring, bestselling author of Battle Mage Farmer series and the Titan series. It is set in world of Nova Terra and starring the unforgettable Thorn, and if you like immersive storytelling, rich fantasy, and epic adventures with a slice of friendship thrown in, you’ll love this thrilling series.

Listen to Forgemaster and escape to the grand world of epic adventure. Endless worlds await!

*warning!*
Do not get this book unless you have read/Listened to nova tera/titan I don’t know which it’s called but anyway it’s basically a continuation of his TEN BOOK LONG nova tera series and they are long books to! (10 to 19 hours or so) and I’m going to assume that the people who baldly rated the book didn’t read nova tera(/titan) and I love this book and the nova Tera series! this is what I use my monthly credit on

GREAT BOOK

Every book is better than the last. This one completely flips the script on Thorn and it’s so great to follow him along this path of no longer being “invincible.” I definitely yelled “NOOO” at the end of the final chapter, what a cliffhanger. Cannot wait for book 2. Just wish there was one other series on par with this authors books. Mage Farmer is just as good as the Titan Series.

Great start to new series!

A good continuation of the Nova Terra series despite being a new series. Do not read if you havent read Nova Terra.

There are many refreshing things about this series as In the first Thorn was Overpowered from the start and was a rich entitled kid who basically solved every problem with brawn and $$.

He actually needs to use his brain and problem solving to accomplish his goals now, though admittedly he can't quite escape some of his previous mindset.

The story does take on a bit more LiTRPg elements like stats and tiers which help to explain his power growth which is nice as well. Although much of the system isn't explained well. Like how every status has wounds and sometimes critical, but he doesn't seem worried when he has critical mind wounds? Seems important, but never ever referenced to a point this parts of the status should probably not have been included.

Reads a bit like a web serial leaving a huge cliffhanger at the end without any resolution in the epologue, so may want to wait until the next book in the series is out, (3 months or so to read this one.

Good overall and worth a read. Hoping Thorn continues to grow and learn as he too often still seems to treat others like servants and tools, rather than actual companions. Likely would have seen one twist coming with more empathy.

Worth a read, good continuation of Nova Terra

I was hesitating to get this next installment to the nova terra world. was glad i went with it. Thorn is in a new world back to being week again but strong for his level . his friends join him later in the series so first few books he is solo an again is thorn an gets tons of luck. an now he must learn to smith an use magic instead of brutal force.

New world a new Thorn
