There's a direct correlation between social status and health in adult life.
This book was very inline with the concepts of power that are found in "The Prince" but in a corporate context.

Excellent overview of the topic of power.
Haven't read much in this topic and was looking for an easy-to-understand overview. This was perfect. Written in a very accessible style, based on sound research, and struck a nice balance between being practical and honest, but not ruthless. Highly recommend as an introduction to the topic.

The best book I read in 2021!
Highly recommend for anyone who wants to grow his/her influence and build a powerful personal brand. This book is the best in explaining the power dynamics in global enterprises and common misconceptions in career advancement. I found it very insightful and simply brilliant!

What an excellent and practical set of advice
I bought it after listening to a small talk clip on youtube by this author. And I think this is probably one of the best books I have read/listened to on power, leadership, and corporate career. The best thing about this book is its practicality. It does not suggest life is an ideal place and that everyone is there to help you, or like many other books - to be successful, you need all the sainthood qualities. Rather, this tells you how rough and unfair your corporate life sometimes can be, how dirty and rough corporate power struggle can be, and sets you to be ready and prepare for it with a great set of examples and advice. I recommend this to everyone who wants a career advancement. Great read!

Actually wish it was longer!
This is a great book full of real world quality advice. It's not that long with most chapters being 30-40 mins. This meant the pace was great and you never lose interest. Highly recommended.
