As a HR Director I can relate, way to much hurt caused my corporations. Companies must care about their people.

It’s assumed that taking care of your workers and not laying them off is good for long-term business, but this book gives lots of evidence and support that this is true. Share this book with your business leaders! He touches on a variety of topics, from healthcare to layoffs to work hours and benefits.

Good Take on the State of Corporate America

Dr. Pfeffer makes an analogy between how our government regulates corporate environmental pollution because there's a cost to society, but it doesn't regulate how companies treat and pay their employees which also has a societal cost.
