What sort of Scrooge would steal from sick children and commit murder in the process? As a Nor'easter bears down and a mystery emerges about Jonathan's past, Addie must find out if she can appraise people's motives and characters as well as she can appraise rare books....

cute storyline

Story was easy to pull together just to drawn out in the romance area.

“Scrubbing Hands”

This author needs a better way to describe people touching their hair and faces. I am so tired of hearing the description of Mark, Simon and Addie “scrubbing their hands through their hair over their faces or through their hair”. It takes me out of the story. Do these people have Brillo pads for hands?!

Truly enjoyable

The writer does a good job of holding my attention. I realize that the writer is showing a.person does not heal overnight from the types of losses that the main character has suffered. But I really hope she decides soon.

She needs to choose Mark!

I think she needs to make a decision about her man. Simon is possessive and annoying. The rest of the story is great. She writes great mysteries.

Great Narration- Meh Story

The series is OK, good listen that is not too complex and very familiar. Exposition is often repeated and unnecessary. The lovers triangle is getting old. listen at 1.5X speed
