Vince finds himself going up in the underworld, but the mafia is far from the only gang in town.
The city is abuzz with an international sorcerer's conference, and the mayor is cracking down hard on anything that might make him look bad. But Vince is out to get that bag. That means fulfilling his enforcer contract for the mob, police crackdown be damned.
Other powers in the underworld aren't sleeping either. Vince still has a vampire assassin after his head, his enemy's powerful backers don't appreciate losing territory, and there's a new player on the prowl with an interest in the Lionetti Family.

The Wait was worth it!!!!
I've been waiting for the audio book for so long I've reread the book like 8 times. The action and comedy are top notch. The romantic interest are all top tier girls. Once again the only author that has gotten me to love a super tall girl. The amount of tail play makes me think I have a new fetish. Epic fight at the end of the book is so intense i had to listen to it twice.I can't wait for book three and what the future of the series will bring and Stephanie Savannah does another great job bringing all the characters to life.

this was really good and something new to the genre
I liked the story. I am very curious how things will progress. it seems he is going to get a power up soon and I have no idea what the plan is for that

One helluva Ride!
This is one of the best works K. D. Robertson has put out. I effing love Nina, Pola, and Nikki, such great characters and the new ones introduced are interesting as heck.
Stephanie continues to wow and amaze with her wonderful performances, making the action big and heart racing, and the sexy times truly spicy.
10/10 would listen to Pola and Nina's spicy scenes again .

Great story with interesting characters
Lets the the default out of the way; The performance was awesome... Awesome!
Having said that, lets continue on to the story - Which is great with interesting characters, engaging character building and a high-tempo story progression.
The characters are fleshed out, lively, real-like and engaging.
All round a great listen that is worth both the time and price.

Much better than the first
This second part of the story has parts that I believe should be in the first part, but I got this one for the character interactions. And I have to say that I wasn't disappointed in my decision. The Narration was fantastic and the differentiate of the character accents made it easy for me.
I love the setting, but feel the story didn't capitalize on things the writer introduced. But all in all, I will be getting the third one when it comes out.

Even better than the first book.
I enjoyed the first book, but I had a few minor complaints. None of them were issues in this book. I look forward to reading the next book!
