About this listen

Its Ladies Night...First, Victoria Jackson talks about marriage and the intelligence of Victoria Secret models. Then, Yvette Wilson shows what it's like to have an overbearing husband. Roz Browne then paints a pretty picture of domesticity and family. Or not.

Victoria Jackson
Born in Miami, Victoria Jackson was raised in a Bible-believing, piano-playing, gymnastic home with no TV. Her dad was a gym coach, so she competed in gymnastics from ages 5 to 18. When she began her career in entertainment, she supported herself as a cigarette girl, a typist at the American Cancer Society, and a waitress at a retirement hotel. She performed stand-up comedy for two years, until the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson put her act on national TV. Following her 20 appearances with Johnny, she starred in many movies and TV shows, most notably six seasons of Saturday Night Live.

Yvette Wilson
Yvette Wilson is originally from Los Angeles. Aside from performing stand-up comedy, she has starred on two sitcoms: Moesha and The Parkers. Before she started her career in entertainment, Yvette attended San Jose State University and majored in communications. She first entered comedy when she lost a bet and had to perform at a friend's club. She decided to make a living from comedy and never turned back.

Roz Browne
Roz Browne has kept audiences laughing since 1992, when she first began to pursue her dream. "A high school teacher told me I can make a lot of money as a CPA. So that's what I did. Then I found out later that the teacher was just kidding," explains Roz, who performs regularly at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood. Roz has appeared on ABC's The View with Barbara Walters and Star Jones, BET's Comic View, The Best of Comic View, and America's Funniest People.
