Very inspirational

This book was chock full of evidence for eating fat and has inspired me to start the diet. The authors voice was engaging and kept me interested. I was very moved by this piece of work.

Best Guide To Nutrition I've read!

This books is extremely informative with a solid basis in research and science. It has clear explanations regarding the dietary recommendations and easy to follow guidelines with lots of additional free online information on the associated website. If you are looking to improve your health, lose weight and keep it off, and reverse the effects of various chronic diseases as well as decrease the need for and possibly eliminate various medications, then this is the right book for you!

everyone needs to understand this subject

This book is a must read for anyone who values their health. I loved listening to the book from narrated by Hyman himself.

Must keep up plan. I have discovered much of this book from trial & error. I am reassured that this working plan is safe & onward to finish loosing 30 lbs of the 50 l bs I started loosing!

Information that really makes a difference!

I've always enjoyed watching Dr. Hyman on PBS. He's always been sincere and straight forward in his presentation of the facts. He projects that same energy and honesty in the audiobook. Finally a Doctor that doesn't want to fix you by prescribing drugs!

The amount of items that Soy Oil is found within.

Any additional comments?

The book is great if you are someone that likes details that are supported with research information which I do. There were however several points where the clinical terms dealing with types of fats, supplements, etc. became overwhelming and could cause the listener to drift out of focus. I'd like to read some of the studies that Dr. Hyman cites in his text. If you are someone that just likes the big picture, you may not make it through this book. If you like to REALLY understand what's behind the information, you will enjoy it.

My last diet book...

This was my thought when I saw it... My last diet book... It is! 9 days; no cravings, full of energy, happy, lost 4 pounds. I have Hashimoto (my thyroid underperforms), 42 years old, constantly tired, always hungry, 20 pounds overweight ... This was my last diet book! It works!
