Ben Carpenter is the best!

Mr. Carpenter really cares and it comes across in all of his works. This book seems like it was written just for me. A little nerdy, a lot practical, and 100% honest. So happy for him and all his fans like me who just want to be a little healthier without the BS.

Bravo Ben Much Appreciated

The author has a way with words. Giving you the facts and options so that I can make an informed decision. His many years of experience in his field and the deep dives into science backed insights and studies help me understand more than I could if I read the studies myself. Definitely good to have his insights in your arsenal when finding what works for you. I will share with anyone who is looking for the guidance.

Great Refresher on What you Already Know

I really enjoyed the book. I purchased the book knowing I wouldn't get a wealth of new knowledge and most who are reasonably health-conscious would agree, but I could see the value in the book anyway. It's worth the read, and I was happy to have the information that most of use have gathered throughout our lives hammered back into my mind in audible book form. For example, there are many diets.....and the best diet is the one that works for you and that is sustainable long term, so more of a lifestyle change in eating habits than a "diet." The writer also reads the book and is entertaining. Fun book, worth a credit.

Refreshing take on fitness and health improvement

This book is an easy listen to; but be sure to pause and take real thought throughout the chapters when prompted. I found Ben’s take on healthier lifestyle choices through changing habits to align with my way of thinking. I believe it will have a great impact over time to continue my fitness and fat loss journey onto the long term.

informative and a pleasant listen

packed with good information, realistic and not at all just "move more, eat less". such an amazing book that needed to be written for our very broken diet culture.

Oh Ben a simple list would be better

I really like Ben but this book is only ok. He took a few simple fat loss ideas/habits and bloated it up into a book. I wish I had listened for free on my Spotify account or borrowed this from the library.
