About this listen

Years of struggle have left Zecia weakened in their war against the Kan'Tanu Cult.

Negotiating for peace is not an option when the System is in control. It can only be purchased through blood and steel. No one is spared from the winds of war.

Zac and his elite armies have been forced to the frontlines just as opportunity strikes. An ancient war fortress has risen from the dimensional depths.

Built by the Limitless Empire, it holds power and secrets far beyond what's seen on the desolate frontiers. Seizing it could be the key to changing the winds of war. Zac finds himself in the heart of the struggle.

No matter what, he won't let it fall into the Kan'Tanu's hands.

14 in and I'm still wanting more....

Great plot progression. felt like a lot of the holes were filled in.
just wish they would have incorporate the heist into this one so the seal bearer arc could have started with book 15.

So excited

Finished the 13th book a month ago or so and I’ve been on the edge of my seat waiting for this book. 4 hours into it already and I haven’t been disappointed yet. Zachary Atwood is my GOAT and I’m definitely getting a tattoo based on his cultivation.

Good one

honestly the best parts were the bloodline vision and agras visiting his homeplanet and honestly I skipped most of Templar trials I found just tedious and somewhat boring and at this pace the big event won't happen until 2 more 20+ hours books

Adding more complications to the story

This has truly been an excellent series, but it time goes on the story becomes more and more complicated so many different aspects and open storylines. There was nothing wrong with this, but it starting to become complicated to follow all the different moving components. The story is still very strong and has excellent writing, but each time a new book like this comes out you kinda have to look back just to refresh your memory of the different things going on.

Yet another side quest that goes nowhere

Worst book in the series so far.

A whole bunch of nothing.

If you’re following the series you can probably skip this book and be just fine

more than 3/5 shoving treasures in painful places

3/5 shoving treasures in places, and describing agonizing advancement the reader knows ends in some deus ex pullthrough.

1/5th finding treasures to shove into places with some plug and play plot elements.

1/5 interesting plot development where the characters we like do neat things that are engaging and advance the plot.

please invert the order and delete part 2 of this recipe. provide plot. how about an story arch? stop shoving treasures in places. it's parrot sketch time if this is the new norm.
