I needed this book

I've always wanted to get into journaling, and I've started many times but never kept up with it. I came across this audiobook and it was 100% speaking directly to me. "It's not that difficult, and it's very beneficial, let me show you" is basically the message, and that's exactly the message that it delivered. As a result, I've been able to add journaling to my routine nearly every day as of late, and it's all thanks to Emily!

Very helpful!

I love journaling, and I try to do it often. I have a couple of journals; one is for my feelings, one for my future, one for my current situation - daily. But sometimes, I lack consistency. This book has helped me to overcome that problem, it showed very useful and simple techniques to do my best at journaling. Thanks a lot.

A Useful and Interesting Guide to Journaling

This audible book is a quick and informative read and a very useful reference for journaling that I enjoyed reading and would highly recommend. It's already helped me to understand not only the how to's of journaling but also the many ways it can improve my life.

Fantastic Straightforward Book on Journaling

I have started and stopped journaling several times before in my life, never understanding why I couldn't keep my efforts consistent. This book not only educates and prepares you for the art of journaling, but explains how to make it a habit so you will stick with it. It is very informative on the benefits of journaling to exercise your mind and help to increase your overall health. People that I admire and respect, such as Ben Franklin, Leonardo DeVinci, Tony Robbins, Oprah Winfrey, Anne Frank, etc., all kept personal journals and attributed a lot of their successes and satisfaction with their lives, to the practice of journaling. Writing forces you to use your brain, organize your thoughts, chronicle your feelings and life experiences and helps you to appreciate what you have, what your goals are and how you want to grow as a person. The book helped me to open up my eyes to the many different types of journals you can create, encompassing some of the topics I just mentioned but also being used as an emotional purge or a receptacle to record any dreams and aspirations you may have. The author gives straightforward advice on how to dodge the pitfalls of why people don't journal, such as no time, nothing to say, etc., and explains how to turn journaling into a powerful habit by linking journaling queues to some of our already existing habits, like brushing our teeth or enjoying morning coffee. I definitely enjoyed this book and appreciated the author's style of communication: I felt like she was right there by my side, guiding me through how to make journaling a part of my life. Now, I have already started three journals: one on dreams, one daily targets and lessons learned, and one on things I am grateful for! This is an uplifting inspirational book I highly recommend reading!

Long way from "dear diary"

This was an amazing book that gave me the motivation to write again. Like the author stated in the beginning, I was one of those people who kept a diary and liked to write a lot in my younger days. As I got older, the writing became less. There was a lot of great insight on the many benefits of keeping a journal and just writing your thoughts down in general. With writing you can gain self-awareness, closure, gratefulness, and so much more!

Super Helpful!

I loved listening to this audiobook on journaling! I’ve tried a few times to get into journaling but it never stuck. The techniques she shared made the whole process not only simple but also fun. I bought myself a new journal and have started writing down my daily targets every morning. I can’t wait to implement the rest of the techniques. I feel more organized and productive.
I highly recommend this audiobook if you are looking for some easy tips to get started journaling.

Turns chaos into deep love and relaxation

I finally feel like I have a grip of my life. I used to despise writing, but I knew I wanted to get my emotions out and heal. This book gave me the motivation, tools, and confidence to grab my life back. I am staying true to myself and don't have to worry about what people think of me anymore. For once I actually feel free.
