Good listen
Didn’t love the narration, the voices really threw me off. Story was good, the mystery kept me guessing. Not my favorite read from this author, but I did enjoy it.

Last chapter recording
The end of the last chapter recording sucked big time. It kept cutting off and on. I really never got the final details of book. Very frustrated!

Great storyline
I loved the character development. The author’s description makes you feel like you know them. The main characters start as being very harsh. I didn’t like them. As the story develops they start to soften. The back story is about deceased former parents control over the their adult children which contributes to current beliefs. Original storyline. Good book.

a heck of a good read
this book is a very good read it has a lot of suspense a lot of turns the characters are well-developed and a hat you don't know who's doing what what's going on and who knows what's going on until the very end

Loved this!
I'm a Mary Burton fan and was eager to start this series. Immense amount of twists and turns with this one. I was surprised with the ending. Moving on to book 2 immediately.
