I’ve never felt so seen! Must read if you have ADHD!

“The next time you find yourself motivated to organize your bookshelf at 2am by color…go for it!” -Louise Acevedo

Wow, I’ve never felt so seen!!!! This book was such a wealth of valuable and PRACTICAL tips for not just coping with ADHD but thriving and embracing the “superpowers” that come with it! “If there’s one thing our adhd minds teach us it’s that’s rigidity is overrated, setting goals with the flexibility to shift as our moods and motivations change is crucial.”

Louise also includes effective tips for combatting decision fatigue that are actually usable in daily life. What really put this book over the edge for me and made me want to give it all the stars is how many facets are covered. From emotional support, community, home life to work, this book has it all.

Absolutely a must read for anyone who has ADHD or a loved one who does.

Clutter equals stress

The pasrt of this book I liked the most is why clutter can be especially stressful for people with ADHD. Clutter creates cognitive overload adding to daily stress. But instead of just pointing out the problem, this book offers a roadmap for regaining control, one practical solution at a time. I loved the ADHD-specific tips, like using visual cues, breaking tasks into bite-sized actions, and setting up simple routines that actually stick.

Learning to use my super power

Growing up, ADHD was tough to deal with but also tough to make friends. I was always too scattered to make lasting relationships, even with myself. As an adult, I now know my ADHD can also be a superpower, but I needed to learn how to harness it. This audiobook is teaching me just that. It is giving me the skills to improve all aspects of my life, especially around the house. Getting organized has never been this much fun. Great book!

This is brilliant

I got this for my adult nephew who has ADHD. He's struggled with organization his entire life and although he's a great young man, his brain just works differently. I was so impressed with this audiobook - the recommendations this author makes for helping someone with ADHD declutter and organize their life are so smart. I would have never thought of most of these things, and my nephew is finding it easy to implement them. This book basically taught him how to turn a weakness into a superpower, and I can tell he's enjoying getting more control of this part of his life. If you have ADHD and need help with organization, or if you have a family member who could benefit from this, I think you'll find a lot of great information here.

Finally, an Organizing Guide That Gets the ADHD

Finally, an Organizing Guide That Gets the ADHD Struggle!
I’ve tried countless organizing books before, but this one actually felt like it was written for me. It doesn't make you feel guilty for being "messy" or overwhelmed—it's so understanding of the ADHD chaos! I love how it breaks down cleaning tasks into bite-sized, ADHD-friendly steps. The tips are super practical and easy to implement without feeling like a chore. It's not about being perfect, but about making small, manageable changes. Highly recommend it to anyone who’s tired of the traditional organizing advice that just doesn’t stick!
