Best book ever

Sets the standard for all other books. Perfect characters, perfect plot, perfect spice, perfect comedy, perfect performance. Nothing else needs to be said.

Better than book one

Oh man! Sometimes reading book two is never the better of books but with JT you know her books ONLY get better and better! Ya know, I bet JT laughs with herself at the jokes she writes on the page…I’d give my left tit to see how the jokes goes down when she writes them.
Anywho, this is my favorite book so far and to know that book 3 is Riley…oh goddess I hope she doesn’t go after Sloanes ex!!! EWWWW I hope it’s a new “member” maybe even with spider!! lol

Whoa!

Not gonna lie. Sloan was my favorite in book one. I was eaget and ecstatic to read her story. it did not disappoint.

Sloan's story is just as sultry as she is. Declan is the perfect tall dark handsome she needs. Their spicy sizzled off the page.

Delicious Banter !

Laugh out loud funny banter and great spice along with a good war of continues story line. Look forward to next installment !

So GOOD!!

I’ve literally listened to two of the books in this series, in approximately 3 days!! I am in love with this series! The second book was awesome, and I think the character of Sloan is a goal of mine :) she is freaking hilarious! What a great tie in to the story! There were a couple of sex scenes that I chose to skip over a bit. I did, however, find that important things were discussed during these intimate moments so, I didn’t skip much! The book is not for the faint of heart but that’s one reason that I loved it so much!!

Absolutely adored Declan and Sloan. Grumpy sunshine, enemies to lovers at its finest! Seriously I love everything I’ve read of JT Geissinger’s. She writes my favorite twists! This may be my new favorite. Can’t wait to read what happens next for these characters. Huge shoutout to the narrators. Michelle Sparks and Troy Duran are some of my go-to favorite narrators and it was amazing to hear them together again!

I have never laughed so hard…

I LOST IT for this book. Everything about it. Was Sloane absolutely insanely intense? Yes. Was the banter borderline excessive? Yes. Did I still love it? Yes.

The narration of this book was SO solid for me. I truly love when the narrator gets the accent RIGHT. I was convinced that Troy Duran the narrator was Irish. I also love dual audiobooks. I feel as though this lets the narrator shine more than when they must do alternate gender voices. Most are fantastic at it, but this way feels more authentic as a listener. It allows me to truly be immersed in the book.

As far as the storyline, this was fantastic. I really enjoyed book #1 but Sloane and Declan truly got so much more on page time and character development. Both of their stories were also truly heartbreaking and Sloane’s I never saw coming! The spice was next level and I love that we had some true kinks at play in this book.

My favorite thing about the book? THE NONSTOP LAUGHTER. This book was SO FUNNY I couldn’t even believe it. 5/5 humor.

My only tiny issue: with this book was I started to get a little lost in the twist ending but I eventually caught up. Maybe I’m just slower to process the complex twists and turns but I was more just like “wait, what are the logistics here? Is this possible or more fantasy?” Additionally just having to look up a lot of Irish slang. Some footnotes would have been helpful. Otherwise no notes!

This book was hilarious! I love the back and forth between main character. I laughed the whole time!!!!! This girl is the shit.

loved the casting!

I listened to the narration of this book and read along and it was so good! I loved the subtle Irish accent for Declan's character and how the original actor for Nat was brought back in for her parts.

Overall I loved this book when I first read it and the audio definitely brings another level of enjoyment! I would highly recommend for those that love a mafia drama with over the top protective male characters and strong and witty females.
