Who even is Killian Carson when you have Caden King😮‍💨 The prologue alone had me questioning what I was reading. But by the end I fell in love with Caden and all his unhingedness 🤭

This audiobook is dual narration. Both narrators did an amazing job portraying the characters.

Obsessed and possessive is how we like them!

I love how strong the fmc was and how she didn’t normally take crap from anyone! I love when the boy ends up being obsessed and super protective over the fmc. He was definitely “dark” but what he did and went through to help get her the life she wanted 😭😭 such a strong mmc also!

Hot, dark and great plot

I’ll be honest with you I wanted to DNF after that prologue but I stuck it out and I’m glad I did. Those two characters are so messed up that they are perfect for each other. I definitely would not want him as my boyfriend, but I loved hearing their love story The audio is exactly what I wanted that Mail narrator was awesome.

The way I am in love with everything about this book. I'll be honest and say I was judging a book by it's cover and it just screamed a little too... cutesy for me?... *LMAO* WRONG! This book is an extremely dark bul!y romance that had me on the edge of my seat screaming demanding these two get their happily ever after. I was full on panicking at one point. This is such a hard earned happily ever after which made me root for these two that much harder. The spice was phenomenal, the story line was refreshing and new, and the man is possessive as he!l. Did I mention she's an MMA fighter? The narration was chef's kiss as well!

it had me cringing through most of the book, but I loved the book from start to finish.

Way more than what I expected. Wow!

I now have a new saved author. This book was WAY more interesting than I expected. Very dark, but steamy. The narrators were amazing, which Corbin King never disappoints. I couldn’t quit listening to it, I literally put my headphones in at work because I stayed so on edge the whole time. If you have triggers, this book gets pretty graphic with sexual and physical abuse. But if you like the dominant sexy male characters, this is for you. The main characters were intriguing. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

An Unhinged mess

This story was absolutely unhinged and I was shocked but also impressed. I kept hearing about how dark this book was but I have experience with really dark books so I didn’t pay it much thought but this book was DARK and Caden king delivered. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Took a chance on this book without much consideration, and wow! No regrets! It seemed a bit on the angsty young adult side so I was unsure at first. I was pleasantly surprised with a well written highly entertaining gangland Romeo and Juliet style love story. I absolutely loved the spice! Let’s just say I like my romance DARK and in my fantasy world consent is more a mild suggestion…. Unfortunately it’s not a very common idea in most romances. Seems like authors tend to shy away from everything but the lightest suggestions of non con ( for obvious reasons). Even the books that have non con and dub con usually have some mitigating situations or factors or whatever to kind of lessen the concept/make it more socially acceptable. Well I just LOVED that the MC was absolutely unapologetic! He’s an actual BAD bad boy! How refreshingly delicious 😈! I will definitely be listening to this book again in the future! A proud new addition to my favorites list for sure! Also the dual narration was excellent and I appreciated the dual POV. Well worth a credit and a worth addition to any dark romance collection.
