Good

Good book for a unique angle when approaching health and weight loss. Equating food addiction to other addictions is eye opening and a spiritual approach to fitness goals that one may be missing.

These are the testimonials that I needed to hear!

I appreciate the candor of the authors. I ordered the Dr Furman book about half way through. And As I listened to the last chapters, of this one, I was clearing out my pantry of unhealthy foods. I am continuing to pray for grace and strength as I begin this new lifestyle! Thank you, Yah!!!

Healthy eating will work!

I liked the suggestions on swapping out or rather completely stop the foods that every one knows are increasing your weight, and replace them with healthy foods. And that your pallette will adapt accordingly.

Excellent

This book has helped me in many ways. I am very grateful for it! My only complaint… It’s not about the book itself but about one of the readers. Susan Hanfield has a tendency to sound… I don’t know how else to put it… Arrogant. I don’t think she intends to but that’s the way she comes across. Anyway other than that I loved the book!

GREAT book

This book has been a huge help to me. I think people who are chronically overweight, like me, need to change how they think about eating and this book helps to do that. its especially helpful that the author and his wife are so incredibly relatable as they too struggled significantly with their weight .

A true God send

I'm so blessed to have this biblically centered resource to aid in my nutrition / weight loss journey. I've respected Dr. Brown for many years as an authentic man of God, and am glad that he and his wife so candidly deal with the issue in this book.

I would rather have read the book than listen

The woman who speaks for his wife’s writings, she has a very hard voice to listen to. It sounds like she is continually trying to seduce the listener by her tone of voice. It’s quite annoying. I wish that It wasn’t included because the man who speaks for Dr. Michael Brown is totally fine.
