Talisa had to believe Teddy’s visions were from God because she had seen them save lives. But being involved in the wildest events in Gilead county, along with caring for her sister Janie and Teddy’s special needs, was driving Talisa crazy. Or maybe she already took that trip when her father died.

Either way, Teddy’s latest vision brought everything too close to home when it corresponded with the woman screaming next door. But there is no woman next door and discovering how the two events connect will force Talisa to revisit the past that haunts her and entangle her in the biggest mysteries in the area.

If there was any way she could do it by herself, she would never get involved with Luke again. He was part of that past. But his bad guy catching methods were unique, and they worked. She had hoped that he, at least, wouldn’t interfere with her potential relationship with the handsome psychiatrist next door. Who was she kidding? That was like keeping a kid out of wet cement.

Now, none of that matters. Janie and Teddy are missing, and if the psychiatrist is right, Talisa’s world just turned upside down. The man she hoped would heal her might be a killer, the man she trusted like family might be a deceiver, the gift she believed in might be a fake, and the only person who can help her is the one man she can’t forgive.
