Amazing performance
this book easily draws you in and holds your attention every moment. in a short amount of time you feel like you know these characters. then the end just kind of drops you. it's perhaps meant to allow you to imagine your own ending, but there are too many choices and you are so invested in the characters that you would like to know what actually happens in the story. it's a little disappointing.

Glimpse into a tough situation - from a broadway show
Trigger warning: NICU stay. This story is from a broadway show about a mom of a special needs child and deals with a NICU stay. My son was born 5 weeks early and we had a week-long stay at the NICU, this felt like being back there. It was nice to hear someone else’s story as it felt identical in even the short amount of time we stayed. It was hard to listen.

Incredible - Spot on Accuracy
This story is so true to life it’s like I was living it. In truth I have lived it, the noises, the conversations, the experiences, the medical necessities. I found myself smiling feeling very validated in this story line. It was so nice to hear a storyline that doesn’t end with a specific ending. How can you? It won’t resonate as deeply if it has a definitive ending. Parents of these very special children hope for one yet often experience the other.
Perfect performance in every way!
Even done the melt down with the Music Therapist followed by a Chaplin. I literally lived that one year ago!

Excellent representation

Tough Account of. Sick Child’s Mother
At times this is difficult to follow because of the strain the mother is under. The narrator and others are good as well as the effects. Unsettling often because of the sadness.

Sad, it felt too real. I wanted to hug the protagonist
oh my gosh, this touched parts of me I wanted to leave buried. I cried, I wanted to be hugged, but I'm alone. I wish I wasn't right now.

Wonderfully written story
I really enjoy Rachel’s voice! The other actors were great as well. I think we can all see ourselves in this story.
