On the day we choose our wedding rings, my fiancé vanishes into thin air.
My fiancé brought me tea and scrambled eggs in bed that morning, and we snuggled together, talking about buying our rings, and about our perfect wedding next year.

The story was good for the most part up until the last couple chapters. Then I feel like there’s so much leading up to the end and it just dropped off with no real finish.

Disappointing plot
The story had so much potential. Although it seemed unnecessarily long, I kept going because I imagined a cleverly delicious psychological twist at the end. But the ending was disappointing and ridiculous. Narration was great though.

The performance was very strong.
I enjoyed the story,even though it got a bit repetitive and I was able to figure out the villain,I waffled back and forth between 2 characters being at fault for a while so it kept me guessing for a while. Eve truly suffered due to decisions of people who she loved and she thought loved her.

Slow and underwhelming
I can see why ppl are not happy with the ending. I sped up the narration more and more because it was tedious to me, but I was curious where it would end up, if anywhere, because the start was intriguing. I was left feeling flat.

Enjoyable
I was in a book rut and this one pulled me out. I enjoyed the storyline and the narration. The ending for me was a tiny bit predictable but overall all I found the book suspenseful and had me wondering.
