Now scattered throughout the Arenian wilderness and armed only with their Tomes - books containing all of their skills, accomplishments, and quests - the family members must discover a strength they didn’t know they had if they are going to survive long enough to find each other.

Note: Contains some profanity and a turkey, but not a profane turkey. Personally, I’m fine with profane turkeys, but if that’s where you draw the line, you should know that there are none in this book. In fact, I’m going to promise you no profane turkeys for the entire series. That’s my gift to you.

Took a chance on this book and don’t regret it. Well written and engaging, ready for the next installment!

It's a fun twist on the Classic AlightRPG.

Swiss Family Robinson LitRPG

great story, looking forward to book two. I very much enjoyed the multiple perspectives from the family characters. Each character, from The wizened world war II vet grandfather, to the under appreciated son felt realistic in a way that's uncommon for this genre. looking forward to book two.

Great book

This was a great book. I really hope that the author writes the 2nd one that is able to be put on audible. Jeff Hayes you were amazing on the voices.

Good story

Good story. I recommend this one as a casual listen. Not crunchy but stats are present.

Hilarious

This is one of the funniest books I’ve listened to in a while. It’s not a heavy book and with Jeff Hays narration it really comes to life.

Worst Thanksgiving Ever

This engaging alternative take on a translocation isekai due to the bungling of higher, and potentially high-er, powers blends comedy and adventure into quite the tasty treat. Each character has something to offer readers, and every single one is brought to life by the excellent voicework of Jeff Hays. The combination of a great story that will leave you wanting more and a voice performance both varied and talented makes this Worst Thanksgiving the best to read.

P.S. - The turkey isn't a joke. There is actual development for this character and progression, and I see big things for her in the next book.

love this book the characters progression is amazing it hilarious as well I need a second one!!!!!!!

for those who get to the end of this book

if you're with me how badly do you want to slap Carl, the things this family had to go through to get to the city you just want to either Ascend again to slap Carl or have Carl sent down so you can slap it repeatedly maybe you can get a class that called slap Carl.

I really enjoyed this. Look forward to hearing more. Can’t wait. There really isn’t anything offensive in here. Just a pretty solid rpg.
