With Elodie's help, I discover that I have undiscovered magic powers, which I must master to save the people I love from the clutches of the enemy.

As if that weren't enough, I find myself face-to-face with a waifish, beautiful girl who wants to help even though she's supposed to be on the enemy side and a mysterious genie who wants to grant me my wishes. With the girls by my side, I navigate this new and dangerous world of magic, battling dark forces and uncovering the truth about my own heritage.

Will these beautiful, strange girls be able to help me unlock the secrets of the magic shop and save the little store—and my legacy—from certain doom, or will we fall prey to the forces of darkness that seek to destroy us?

Not to heavy, good story building and likable characters.. Looking forward to the next book

riveting

a great fast paced story of inheritance leading to a magical part of the world while battling a body snatcher and getting used to having more than 1 love

Great start

The series is off to a very good start. There's a great blend of adventure, slice of life, humor, and romance. The characters are well-written. I really liked the shop setting. In short, this was a really fun book.

Love me this type of world building, down home slice of life adventure with done very interesting characters with genuine laugh out loud moments. Not bad at all! Looking forward to the next installment!

Fun story, bad male narration

Story is good. A little too much fixation on the concept of virginity in the people he's with by the writer. Makes me think it's a red pill dude obsessed with "body counts" that wrote it. The male narrator though... you can tell when he gets to the end of a line on the page. He'll be reading with a good fluid pace, then put a pause in between two words that shouldn't have a pause there. And it happens quite a bit when he's narrating. The female narration is above average. Decent distinct voices. Accents are kinda bad but nowhere near the worst I've heard.

Great HaremLit slice-of-life.

The book blurb doesn't mention it, but this book also has harem romance and spice. Just want to get that out there.
The MC takes over his grandpa's magic store, and the small town's rich family wants to buy it from him, and they're not afraid to use illegal and underhanded tactics to get it.
While learning that magic is real and fighting off bad guys, the MC falls for the cat shifter/familiar and a couple of other hotties.
I was gifted this book with the expectation of an honest review.
I really enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next one.
I give it 8 stars out of 5.

Fire

Fantastic premises I always love listening and reading the stories with characters with cheat abilities because sometimes you don't want things to slag on a plus work from the voice actor voice actor the characters will have you constantly wondering what they're going to get into next hope to see this continued further

Solid 4/5

The humor is on point, however the pacing in the story leaves about to be desired. The relationship acquisition speed is slightly too fast and sometimes the MC pulls new tools to use out of nowhere which feels a little off. those are the only gripes I have. it is fun and enjoyable.
