The latest Mystic Bayou novel from Audie Award-nominated author Molly Harper will have you swooning with passion and wailing with laughter!

Cordelia Canton is on a top-secret assignment: travel to Mystic Bayou and use her powers as a touch-know psychic to learn more about the mysterious artifact that’s been pulled from the rift site. She’s partnered with Brendan O’Connor, a rare male banshee whose tall, dark, and broody good looks are a major distraction. Before long, it becomes clear that the artifact they’re studying is sentient - and brimming with supernatural power. Can they harness its magic in time to stop the secret forces conspiring to steal it?

I love Mystic Bayou!

And I feel the need to be licked by Zed, whom I love. You will understand when you read this. All the favored characters together again in a fabulous Molly Harper story. As per usual Amanda Ronconi and Jonathan Davis did a tremendous job.

More accent work would have helped

Only 3 stars for performance because one of the readers struggled really badly with the Irish accent. I honestly felt bad for him, but it did kind of take me out of the story at times, so not quite a 5 star performance, though I've loved his voicing of the other characters.

It’s an ending and a beginning..

Cordelia and Brendan have interesting gifts and in some ways they are opposite. She see’s the past and current and he can see a death in the future (sort of)..when they’re brought to Mystic Bayou to work on “Pandora’s Box” found at the site of the rift, Cordelia spends more time in the infirmary than at the site, but thankfully she has Brendan there to not only help her, but keep the nightmares at bay. Brendan for his part is the only who can actually touch “Pandora’s Box” since he is technically “dead”, but touching. Cordelia is much more pleasant.

When danger befalls Cordelia, Brendan and the group “Jillian, Bael, Zed, Dan, Sonia, and Will” come running to the rescue. Once Cordelia and the box are safe, everyone relaxes because the issues in Mystic Bayou have come to an end…or have they??!

I’m not sure because all of the books had me laughing, but I truly think this one was the most funny. Zed was in rare form, and they guys all together were meant to keep you in stitches. Just when you thought this was the final book, I am pleasantly surprised to find that its not and returning to Mystic Bayou is inevitable.

You will not be disappointed in this series. I find them funny, not heavy on the sex (not that I mind), and too good to pass up.

Another Chapter in Mystic Bayou

Cordelia and Brendan’s story is a continuation of the goings on in Mystic Bayou. I absolutely adore this series and this book was just as good as the last 3.

You will need to read/listen to the previous books to get a full understanding of the story. I wouldn’t consider it a stand alone book. But you will get your HEA.
