Harry Potter meets Eliza Dolittle

This book is delightful. Molly Harper's wit is back with an extra dose of whimsy. I hope we'll have many more adventures with this group of characters.

I did have trouble settling into the story because of getting used to the accent. I actually repeated the first five minutes a couple of times to settle in. It's not a book I was able to listen to while doing other things, but it was worth giving it the time and attention.

Absolutely loved it!

A change of pace for Molly Harper but on a par with all her other books.
Can't wait for the next one!

As always Amanda Ronconi does a great job with the narration!

I don't want it to end!

I loved this book and the world she created. I can not wait to further explore this magical world. The heroin starts out meek and then evolves as a force to be reckoned with. She changed the status quo without meaning to just by existing. Great book well worth the credit....

FYI: This is a Young Adult book and therefore doesn’t have as much snark and sassiness as all of Molly’s past books. But this is a great book for your kids to read to introduce them to the amazing talents that are Molly Harper and Amanda Ronconi.

Changeling was a great start to Molly Harper’s newest series. I don’t normally ready YA books anymore but I wanted to read this because I love Molly and Amanda! Changeling follows young Sarah Smith as she tries to comes to grips with her new found magic!
I had the joy of listening to Changeling narrated by the amazing Amanda Ronconi. I will tell you that I had to look at my audible a couple times as the story started. I was expecting the the soothing southern voice of books of past. The “English” version of Amanda was a bit of a shock! But I still loved it! I loved to hear something different from Amanda!!!

This book is perfect for your youngsters that are looking for a new series to start!!

Can’t wait to see what is next in this series.

Half a Book

I really enjoyed the storyline, but it only goes through half a school year for the main character. The author seems to be milking readers for money by splitting the book up. Needs more detail and time.

Suspend any preconceived notions...

After my initial listen, I wasn't sure if I liked this book. But since Molly Harper and Amanda Ronconi are one of my favorite author/narrator teams, I decided to give it a second go. If anything, my admiration of these two highly talented women has grown! Well done, both of you!
Please don't expect this book to be similar to the Half-Moon Hollow or Naked Werewolf series. It's not and only further demonstrates the wide spectrum of their mutually formidable skills. The humor is there, just much dryer than the mentioned two series. As the setting is mid-Industrial Revolution England, that's to be expected.
Try not to let any previous impressions mar your enjoyment of a very delightful book. (Yes, I sound like Mrs. Winters-blame my age and upbringing.)
I sincerely hope Ms. White is planning not only a second installment but an entire series. There are other wonderful characters in addition to Sarah/Cassandra who I hope will have their stories told, along with getting to watch all the characters grow and mature.

Not at all what I was expecting. So much better

This book really surprised me. I wasn’t able to put it down. I am anxious for the next one to see what’s going to happen. It’s a definite deviation fro, her normal writing style and Amanda Ronconi really shows her depth with her reading of this one. Definitely worth a listen.

Molly Harper makes audible come alive!! She has a way of bringing characters to life! Can't wait for the next book!
