About this listen

SURVIVE THE APOCALYPSE.

This complete trilogy compiles all three AFTERMATH FALLS books into one collection. Features LIGHTS OUT, GOING DARK, INFERNO DAWN and a new epilogue!

James was no one special until he became an overnight millionaire. With his financial worries gone, he sets his eyes on a local waitress named Beth in hopes to explore a possible relationship.

Then the world changed forever.

After James narrowly escapes death, he takes refuge in his mountainside mansion with Beth and her attractive friend Claire. With fallout destroying the weather system and people going insane from an unknown neurotoxin, the world is more dangerous than it ever has been. Things get even more complicated when a mysterious scientist joins the group, supplying top secret information about the war's mysteries.

But time is running out. It's up to James, Beth, Claire, and Myra to discover the true terror behind the apocalypse.

Can they stop it?

For a harem story they focus a lot more on the ongoing apocalypse. By the end of the first book only 2 women were introduced and he was only sleeping with one. a lot of the weird choices were off putting.

I thought this was a harem?

I do like apocalyptic books, I listen to quite a few of them. This was more of a male erotic fantasy with a few bits of danger, and sadly the erotic parts were more detailed than the action parts. I don't generally go for erotic fantasy, but I've read lots of books that include some sex scenes even if that wasn't the main part of the story, but for this it was. The dialog was regularly sex talk, and I applaud the readers for managing not to laugh at half of it.

Overall, it isn't horrible, but it really isn't that good, if it were a movie it would be a C movie, not even a B....too much telling, and the plot, while it had one, was kind of weak. I got it on one of the sales so I don't feel cheated for what little I paid, but if I'd have used a full credit I might. I do admit the last 20 minutes I almost just turned it off, and if I had, I wouldn't have really missed anything. Still, the writing wasn't completely horrible between the dreadful dialog.

Not what I was expecting

This is not a trilogy but only two stories while it was good enough to listen to through both books I was waiting for a third book since that is what a trilogy means, don’t waiste your credits on this one

When you see or hear the word trilogy it usually means a series of three

I am not a fan of Apocolyptic type books, without it being gamelit, however I love the voices of both narrators, so I figured I would give it a try.

This is quite good, James is a good main character, who has prepared in an appropriate manner, for something, and used his preparation in good ways. Claire is my favorite side character, though I liked Beth as well.

I enjoyed this a lot, including the incursions to other parts of the city, as well as their time at home. I liked how realistic the prepping was for someone who had no prior warning that something was going to happen at all. Keep it up!

Apocalypse FTW

This story was entertaining and helped pass the time so I’m not bashing it. However you can only be an anal virgin once. There were other instances where the same event was repeated but that was the most egregious. Anyway, it was fun.

Could use some editing help

post apocalyptic goodness

MC is too docile for an end of the world situation, as well as too indecisive claims to want to protect his women, but too timid to squeeze the trigger to protect them... sorry but on a life or death situation during the apocalypse, I'm not going to pull my punches or quibble about the morality of ensuring me and mine live against the crazys trying to harm us... also he made too many questionable decisions, seriously wandering around in the apocalypse with just a 9mm... not very survivalist of him. sure I would have one for backup, as well as a big ass knife, but duh you want distance from the homicidal nutcases. So a Rifle or Shotgun would be my main go to... and if I got grenades I'm using those beaches anytime I were facing more then 3 baddies

decent story and plot, not too sexualized, but also not prudish either.
