You will miss the characters of book 1.
Ok so you spend the 90% book in the astral realm. Definitely meet some fun and exciting characters but Isis definitely needed more time. The final war is exciting and I can't wait to see what happens in book 3.

Epic with narration flaws
This series is turning out to be god tier. However, the narration is rush. The narrators aren’t all bad but it feels like it was very rushed making a lot of the interactions awkward. That said, I can’t wait for more

beat book 2
I really enjoyed the first book and this one was no different. I love books with multiple pov, behind the scenes scheming action and comedy. I found myself rewinding a lot as there is a lot going on but that's not a complaint. looking forward to more.

Really Good!
Story has me firmly hooked and invested! Characters are unique enough that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed each introduction for every girl added to the harem. Narration could use some work with the editing though.

A great sequel
Well written continuation of the story. A good balance of scenes, from relaxing with the characters and the excitement of battle. Finally, a smart main character. I'm looking forward to book 3

male narrator and translator need replaced
he's constantly saying lines that are meant for female characters and it destroys the immersion when I need to stop to think about why one character said something the other should have. way more issues than just that, like saying the wrong word in a sentence. the translator is also making WAY too many mistakes. you can't just Google translate an entire book and expect it to be good. GET AN EDITOR.
The amount of ideas in this series that are wholesale stolen from other works is also alarming. I want to say roughly 50% of the world and character concepts are stolen from anime, movies, and other works without any kudos to where the idea originally came from.
