As Davik navigates his growing feelings for Sariel and the attention of his new coworkers, he finds himself drawn to this new life. Each relationship offers a chance at redemption and connection.

But old scores and dangers have a way of resurfacing, and Davik’s journey of healing is far from over.

what a pleasant surprise this book was. I was a little skeptical because it just came out and it weren't very many reviews. I'm glad I took the risk. Absolutely amazing. I can't wait for more!!

This book got me I wasn’t expecting it to be a good as it was! Action Spice good written characters and story that is a fun ride! I really really want more!

poetic justice

the poetic punchlines that felt well thought out, and some of the unique vocabulary.
I feel the relationship pacing came on a bit fast, but still rather enjoyable.

changed my mind

while the inconsistency of his strength and his battle iq can be tough to reconcile for me the story the narration and especially that ending were killer and leaves me wanting more

Awesome story, burned right through it!

Honestly, if you got this far just buy it. It’s a really enjoyable story which I don’t use lightly. Male narration was excellent. Female narration was okay but not bad. Plenty of steamy scenes that fit the story well.

Good story.

Unlike most books in this genre, it had a plot. Seems like there are for too many books in the erotic fantasy genre that are just about sex with some filler in-between the steam. This one has more character development and substance. Melisandre Vert needs more direction. She is good but mispronounces simple words, like " stem" is now "steam" 🤔.Many of her character voices sound like airheads or coquetish .

This is a Good Story!

Performance is spot on, Patrick Dubois, Melisandre Verte Know there business, and they bring there best,

The Story is sometimes hard to listen too, and that is a good thing, i can not stress how good of a story this is, it is entertaining and well written the characters make choices that make sense and the world feels real,

i really look forward to a book two.

not for the faint of heart

this is a very powerful story. As a veteran I can empathize with the MC. don't get me wrong, this is a great book and the author should be proud but as for me looking to escape different pain, it was to close to home. continued success to the author. A lot of people will like this book.
