So glad I took a chance

I decided to take a chance on a new author. I am really glad I did. I can't wait for the next audible installment.

Excellent

Uh so, this one had some steamy moments. They were great and the cover kinda gave it away, but the story really had a lot to offer too.

A massive first entry, loved it

I have to say I was really surprised at quality and length of this audiobook. The characters are great The story is on the nose what else could you ask for? That is well worth your time. the narrators did a spectacular job as well

Lots of fun

This one definitely caught my attention from the word go. I really enjoy fantasy, and boy oh boy, is this a fantasy alright. Not to give too much away, but it starts off quite strong and keeps your attention. Looking forward to the next one.

Great book

Started off slow but it picked up! I wish he became more of a powerhouse faster, but the progression is still good. The audio sounded like it was made on an iPhone or an android but it’s not terrible. I wish she would’ve contacted already and became king but everything good comes in time.🤷🏼‍♂️

It’s great but…

I feel the narrating falls short like they are not properly utilizing the talent that both narrators have. Other than that there’s also some modern phrases and references that really threw me out of the loop from the story, like I get it, it’s an isekai but a little less anime jokes and quotes would go a long way! The story is pleasantly complex and has me invested and looking forward to listening to the next book.

Great first book cant wait for more

Never read anything by this person but if they are all as good as this then i will need to check them out.

If you like cute monster girls and bratty nobles girls with a sweet mc then this is your book. Its starts slow but as i have almost read this whole thing in one day it really sucks you in.

both Sylvester Frost, and Ellory Lane did a great job. Ellory Lane is made to do older woman voices all very well done.

You need to read this book asap! It blew me out of the water! It was so good! Please give it a listen!

Interesting

You ever watch a movie where you objectively know it’s bad, but you still like it? That’s how I felt about this book. There’s literally no plot for the first 2 hours, and even after that it’s nonsensical at points. Chapter 11 almost made me put the book down. But that wasn’t even my main problem with it. This voice acting pair is bad on both ends. The book feels like it was recorded on an iPhone with a mic plugged in. Swallowing noises, deep breaths in between sentences, bad pronunciation, it’s like they didn’t even bother editing at all. Both of the voice actors only have 2 voices as well, there’s no range at all. Better VA’s would have made some of the problems with the story more bearable.

That aside, there are things about the story that have genuinely caught my interest, the MCs powers and potential have me looking forward to seeing to what he becomes. I’ll continue with the series because of that alone.
