I love the narrator and her accent

the book was wonderful no dry parts and no parts that were making me frustrated but a heart warming happy book.

I loved everything about the book

how they stuck together through thick and thin.And the caring they had .The whole clan was very close. I wish I lived in a clan.!

Well narrated.Story with suspense,lots of romance.I am not a person of many words.I enjoyed the Audible book.

Easy listening

I enjoyed this story. The intimate bits were much longer than I’m used to, but it was easy too forward through to the next chapter. Basically, once they start the rest of that entire chapter is one long lovemaking scene. Seriously, who needs 14 minutes of that.. it’s excessive. Otherwise, I enjoyed the narrator and everything else about the story.

Loved Series

I love how the stories tied together. I liked how their was violence but it was resloved but not in great detail. I loved the series.

Unexpected Jem

I was pleasantly surprised. This is the first book I’ve listened to by this author and it was so good. I’m going to start her next book immediately! It had everything I could want in a historical romance and more. Well written and the narrator did a great job at bringing the characters to life.

Irritating lack of communication

I found this story annoying in that the author found it necessary for the main characters to NOT be able to draw courage and speak their minds!! Laird indeed-he ALWAYS believed the worst about Maggie when a situation arose. Total childish behavior. This total arrogance and disrespect left me feeling that yes, like a lot of men, he couldn’t handle being in the wrong. Terrible narration of the Scottish accent. Most of the story sounded like Irish teenagers.

not bad

Lachlan & Maggie: triggers- sexual assault, domestic abuse, kidnapping. Maggie is betrothed to a bad man, so to avoid the marriage, she leaves her home. Lachlan is on a mission to stop a man from trying to kill his own father. They meet after Maggie helps to heal Lachlan's brother and Lachlan thinks he's trying to kill him. After that it's a story of secrets and omitted truths in order to avoid getting married, on both sides. But that doesn't stop them from falling in love. For the most part it's a sweet story but these historical highland books are beginning to so sound the same.
