This book was a perfect mix of romance,intrigue,suspense,history ans sex!

The way the story flowed,which left you wanting to keep listening.

What does Antony Ferguson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He reads at a perfect pace that is easy to listen to

I think I would stick to the title as it really does encompass everything

Best book I have listened to in a long time

It was ok

The story was ok, the narrator sounded very robotically Ai, pausing in places that made zero sense and lent to my certainty that they used Ai to read this book. I don’t think I’ll read any more in this series.

When one buys a book with that title one knows what one is getting. I was actually surprised at how good this was. Many things are a given ??? but that is what I expected, but many things were a surprise. So if you are looking for a book about a beautiful, strong, willful woman, a god of a man, a love story, and double crossing, scheming Highlanders ??? this book is for you??? ;)

Highlander Untamed was a very enjoyable story. Feuding Clans The MacLeods and MacDonalds are order by King James to Handfast The chief of MacLeod's Rory to the Chief of MacDonald's daughter Isabel. There relationship starts out tremulous and very rocky, The couple just don't trust one another. Isabel's duty is to find the MacLeods legendary Fairy Flag and the Secret entrance to the Keep. She must seduce her new husband to tell his secrets. Rory is no fool and a excellent hero. Very sexy Alpha male. He suspects what Isabel is up. However these two have such strong chemistry and attraction to one another that it cannot be deny. They actually grow in Love. I loved to watch there relationship grow from lust to trust to love and finally forsaking all others. Isabel is a beautiful young women, kind and very intelligent. Rory is everything a women would or should want in a man. Tall, handsome, strong and intelligent, also very honorable. I fell in love with this couple. I couldn't stop reading this story and read it straight through. Monica McCarty is fast becoming one of my best and favorite Historical Romance authors. All her characters are based in reality of notable Historical figures. Her storyline figures around past historical events. She truly has done her research. If I had any complaint it would the near rape attempt. Not necessary and it sort of threw cold water on the story. Just for a minute. I Highly Recommend Highlander Untamed.

My first from this author and was not disappointed, the authors history of the highlands And how she wove it together in this story for Rory and Isabella was exceptional.. Love Anthony Ferguson's narration of it

Great Story

Another wonderful highland tale by Monica. The narrator was really go and easy to listen too. I really enjoy the highland history from the author at the end of the book.

Very enjoyable book

it was a VERY enjoyable book, I giggled when the book reader spoke Isabelles voice, it reminded me of Mrs. Doubtfire. It was hard to put a young pretty face to his voice, but I loved the book.

Where does Highlander Untamed rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

it is so hard to rank any of the audiobooks...they are all so wonderful..if they were not, i would not listen to them!!!

What other book might you compare Highlander Untamed to and why?

I would compare the book and the narrator to the Karen Marie Moning "highlander"series...Though Monica McCarty's highlanders do not time travel...both are a wonder read and the narrators rocks!

Yes it made me both laugh and cry...great job to the author and the narrator for bringing the characters to life...

Antony did a fabulous job narrating this and the other books...love the highlander voice...made my heart beat a little faster...Watch out Phil (narrator for Karen Maire Moning "Highlander" series)...lol!

Good Story

A little too many, and enduring sex scenes in my opinion, but it had a good story line, which included: Clan feuds, King interference, Scottish hand-fast marriages, treacheries, etc.

It was well narrated by Antony Ferguson, although at times he forgot the Scottish brogue...the reason for only 4 Stars. He has a voice that is easy to listen to, and gave a good performance over-all.

It was worth the sale price, but don't know about spending a credit for it???
