The Chronicles of Narnia is a series of fantasy novels by the English novelist, essayist, journalist, and critic C. S. Lewis. Set in the fictional realm of Narnia, the series takes place in a fantasy world of magic, myth, and talking animals. It deals with the adventures of various children who play a part in the unfolding history of Narnia. The books cover the entire history of Narnia, from its creation in The Magician's Nephew to its eventual destruction in The Last Battle.

C. S. Lewis, autor de Mero cristianismo, Cartas del diablo a su sobrino y muchos otros clásicos muy apreciados, narra una versión nueva de la historia de Cupido y Psique, desde el punto de vista de la hermana de Psique, Orual, quien reflexiona sobre su dolor cuando Psique es enviada a Cupido y sobre su papel en persuadir a su hermana para que mire el rostro de Cupido, algo que él le había prohibido.

C.S. Lewis' famous work on the nature of love divides love into four categories: affection, friendship, eros and charity. The first three are loves which come naturally to the human race. Charity, however, the gift-love of God, is divine in its source and expression, and without the sweetening grace of this supernatural love, the natural loves become distorted and even dangerous.
