"The Moon Pool" is a fantasy/science-fiction novel by Abraham Merritt. The plot concerns an advanced race which has developed within the Earth's core. Eventually their most intelligent members create an offspring. This created entity encompasses both great good and great evil, but it slowly turns away from its creators and towards evil. The entity is called either "the Dweller" or "the Shining One"... This is just scratching the surface of an incredibly complex and suspenseful plot.

Dr. Goodwin is on a botanical expedition in the Himalayas. There he meets Dick Drake, the son of one of his old science acquaintances, and other friends. The infected continue to rage across the continents as the Familia's hit squads close in on Chris and crew. The world is becoming a much more complicated place for Kyler in this latest addition to the Zombies! series. The people closest to him start to question his loyalty as he fights to maintain his self-respect on an increasingly slippery moral slope. A state away Kelly and Randy have no problem breaking rules and would gladly take a running leap onto a slippery slope to save their girls from the clutches of the brotherhood.

In Green Like God, Jonathan Merritt gently and insightfully observes that the Creator has a lot to say about environmental problems like unclean water, mindless materialism, wastefulness, over consumption, and pollution. In fact, Jonathan writes that "in the book of Genesis, God went green and never looked back." Relying heavily on the Scriptures, Jonathan gives the case for green living, but not because it's trendy and hip.
