Story

Story
Rope Hypothesis and Thread Theory is based on Bill Gaede's Rope Hypothesis. We apply the rope model to questions such as, what is gravity, light, electricity, and magnetism? What is thermodynamics? What is the difference between light and sound? What is plasma? How do batteries, antennas, and cathode ray tubes work? What is the difference between fundamental and composite objects? Does size scale make a difference when it comes to motion, friction, bending, stretching, and tension?

Domande antiche e in parte ancora irrisolte.

Story
This brilliant book by Rabbi Dr. Zev Zahavy pursues a bold and dynamic theme that foresees the possibility that science and theology may harness their energies in a unified endeavor, and thereby assume a creative role of leadership in formulating a meaningful outlook for a bewildered, aimless society. A new power structure of science and theistic existentialism will direct humankind along sensible paths of behavior, particularly since civilization stands at a crossroads wherein the cosmological destiny of the human species appears to be at stake. The analysis of the cosmic drama is offered ...

In this book, the age-old existential human questions such as ‘what is love, what is suffering, what does it mean to be alive’, are addressed anew, but this time from the larger context of the Universe story as articulated through contemporary science. The book draws on philosophy, the major insights emerging from cosmology and personal reflection to postulate a more relational, compassionate and sustainable vision of humanity for the future.

Story

Edwin Powell Hubble (November 20, 1889 - September 28, 1953), born in Marshfield, MO, was an American astronomer who played a crucial role in establishing the fields of extragalactic astronomy and observational cosmology. Hubble proved that many objects previously thought to be clouds of dust and gas and classified as "nebulae" were actually galaxies beyond the Milky Way. Hubble's name is most widely recognized for the Hubble Space Telescope, which was named in his honor. The following is a 1945 recording of Hubble's lecture at the New York Philharmonic.

“You like it darker? Fine, so do I,” writes Stephen King in the afterword to this magnificent new collection of twelve stories that delve into the darker part of life—both metaphorical and literal. King has, for half a century, been a master of the form, and these stories, about fate, mortality, luck, and the folds in reality where anything can happen, are as rich and riveting as his novels, both weighty in theme and a huge pleasure to digest.
