somewhat dated advice

conflicting information provided with current studies; not intuitive eating friendly. tw for weight stigma. I loved the week by week recommendations for foods and nutrients, but half the book felt like it was focused on not gaining weight.

A great guild line to start with with recipes

I'm an IVF patient and hearing the first section about vitamins scared me but I do wish she had stated that most prenatals already include them. she also talking about how sugar and fats are bad but never really gets into how much are ok and what kinds and what actually made them bad. but over all a nice book to get a start on a positive direction
