Real raw info, and hilarious!

I truly enjoyed this listen and will most definitely listen to this book again every trimester as I go along in my pregnancy to remind myself of the s*** no one tells you and that I got this! This book was so informative, especially for new parents. I recommend you and your partner listen to this! My partner would walk in and stay to listen for a few and didn’t leave without a laugh! Great if it's your first and need a laugh!

I thought this was funny and gave me a good laugh. Some parts were helpful or informative if it's your first. There are partner and real mom stories that add a neat perspective as well. I also think dads could enjoy this and maybe learn something when mom is done reading it.

This is my first pregnancy and I am enjoyed this book greatly. I liked the humor and the feel of realness. I loved hearing the moms as well as the partners perspective too. I think it was a good mix of expectations v reality, a touch of badassery and a lot of things I didn’t know I had to both look forward to and look out for. Thank you.

Every Pregnant Woman Should Listen to This

Informative and REAL! I didn’t feel like I was just being bombarded with more technical information. This book helped me relax but also know the most important things to consider throughout each phase. I loved hearing from the spouses of those who are pregnant!

Keep you entertained

Such a fun, light hearted book about pregnancy. I was laughing the whole time. Not yet pregnant, just starting to do some research as it’s coming soon. I highly recommend!

Queer Author, Straight Voice

I really want to have a book that was written by a lesbian mom for lesbian moms. this is NOT it. How sad. She also makes this HUGE deal about gender and finding out what kind of genitals your baby has before your baby is born. She is super judgy of anyone who doesn't want to find out. Sorry lady, but freaking out about infant genitalia is super creepy, and incredibly irrelevant to what kind of child you're going to have. 13 years of teaching and child care experience have shown me that a kid with a vagina can be just as difficult as a kid with a penis. The inverse is also true. And while we're at it, for ducks sake, quit color coding your god damn kid so that strangers will be sure to be able to envision what kind of genitals they currently have.
And her voice!!!! Dear Lord, was there not a budget for a voice actor? The jokes might have actually been funny if someone could have delivered them properly.
Two hours left to go, and I'm just done. Can't take another second.

Nice Change

I preferred her more realistic approach to what’s happening during pregnancy. There were parts where I was laughing out loud. I especially liked the parts where she would read what other moms and their partners thought about different subjects. This book gives you permission to relax and enjoy the nine months of just you or you and your partner before a baby comes into the picture.

got old fast, didnt take away a lot

as a new mom im looking for searched fact based information, this one is funny and entertaining but ultimately didnt give me a lot of practical applications to take away. but a LOT of personal stories from the author and friend if that is what you are seeking. and the tone is trying to be funny and entertaining but it just didnt quite hit my funnybone so it got old fast for me. (maybe because I havent had my baby yet I could not yet relate to the jokes).
