About this listen

Contains the complete Warsworn Trilogy: The Flesh of War, The Age of War, and The Heart of War.

Forged for combat, the rock trolls have no equal. They train from birth, endure brutal conditioning, and mark their skin with every kill. They have become the very flesh of war and inspire fear across the globe. Now a bounty has been issued, one that calls for the extermination of their race.

Born in the midst of a bloody conflict, Tryton bears a heart of peace. His talent will command respect, but his nature is his true power. Facing foes from without and within, Tryton must wield his honor like a weapon...and rise to lead them all. If he fails, his people will be hunted into extinction, and no one will be left to protect the races for what comes.

Warnsworn marks the third series within the Chronicles of Lumineia.

Great and Innovative Trilogy

I didn't realize this was a companion to Hale's other books and I didn't need to. It was a phenomenal story and everything action fantasy should be. The three books were well formed and synced together and the way he integrated them into the overall Luminia storyline was really well done. The use of the trolls as the basis if the story was super innovative along with the rational for how they started as antagonist and eventually became protagonist was excellent. highly recommend this. It has some of the best action scenes out there.

Overall, a good series

I purchased book 1 before the trilogy set came out and enjoyed it so when I saw the trilogy set, I purchased it. I enjoyed book 2 as much as book 1 especially the dynamic between Tryton and his prideful brother. The whole aspect of the Construct was a bit out-there and somewhat disjoint with the the rest of the story and environment but it was entertaining, none-the-less. Book 3 was the weakest of the three in that it starts a couple of decades in the future and while Tryton is still a major character, he's no longer the main character. The story moves towards his 3 adult children and their progression into becoming his progeny and successors in defending the recently rediscovered valor of the rock trolls.

One last item, Ben Hale really, really sucks at naming a sword that was instrumental at saving all of Lumineia.

As you will, King Triton. As. You. Will.

Clean Story that reflects the strength of one who instinctively knows the value of Family.

Sworn to Warsworn

Vivid story telling that had me invested in the characters from the beginning! Captured my full attention and I couldn’t wait to find out what would happen to my favorite trolls. The narration was excellent - he made the characters and their personalities distinct. Highly recommended!!
