I’m so mad!
For a complete series, these books leave off on a damn cliffhanger! I expected an ending, but it’s not a completed series. It’s the first three books of a series.
It leaves open ends in book three, but overall I enjoyed all three novels. This is similar to the Luminea series.
I’ll look for the next book, but this is more omnibus than complete series.

Hale has created an amazing universe.
From the early Luminea series to this one, Ben Hale does an incredible job of weeding together a amazing story. Every book has exciting new characters and another nugget to add to this amazing universe. I'm very much looking forward to the Augment War which is the next trilogy in the Luminea universe.

Mostly engaging
The narration is excellent.
The character development is fairly good. I got a little bit tired of having to destroy spaceships and the popular, but annoying obsession with sadistic Narcissists. Fortunately, there are enough people in the book with decent values that it helps to offset some of that.

Didn't want the Series to End
While the audio reader could be a bit, monotone at times. The characters an content hooked me. I can not wait for the next Series. Ben Hale is fast becoming a TOP audible author! Bring on the next Augmented series!

What they said.
So yes, the series is one book short. Or three. Maybe the author got munsoned and couldn't write anymore. But the incomplete series is still awesome. I was glued. and it is clean enough I would have no problem letting my sheltered kids listen to it.
