Good information but book is a little long
This audiobook was an eye-opener. The author opens the book by saying that sugar is eight times more addictive than Cocaine. I think there is some truth to that. I stopped consuming most sugar a couple of years ago and lost 50 pounds, but I still crave it every so often. I found the book to be long-winded, especially in the middle portions. Chapters 4, 5, and 6 can be skipped because the author talks about cleaning junk out of your house, replacing Junk foods, etc.
Chapter 8 has the most useful information because it talks about diet and includes recipes. Unfortunately, this falls flat for an audiobook. I wish the book had a PDF with the recipes and a quick reference, the author does offer some free stuff via a mailing list, but I have grown used to receiving PDFs in self-help books. This book is a good listen if you want to kick sugar.

After listening to this audiobook, I want to hire him as a coach to overcome my sugar craving. I liked his advice about how to eliminate sugar intake in a sustainable way. The book is well researched, the narrator is easy to follow, and the author is an expert on the subject. I want to recommend it to any person addicted to sugar.

Great book on strategically leaving sugar behind
I love this book so much because it did not only provide an actionable, simple and realistic approach to killing my sugar cravings, it also turned out to be a great cook book. Love the healthy recipes.
That's not all, it list all the foods you should not buy, irrespective of what the label says. I'm not going to be tricked anymore. :) Thanks Rex!

Help stop the Sugar Insanity!
I was gifted this book by one of my siblings. To say I have a sweet tooth - is a bit of an understatement to be sure! This book guided me through it, and helped me eliminate it. Now - to be fair, I have had some relapses (who hasn't) but I just listen again and it re-enforces why it was so important for me to quit! I feel 100X better having finally kicked my sugar addiction! Great work, highly recommended!

Kill the sugar in your body, mind
Sugar has a lot of names. You will learn it like I learned in this book. I found it interesting that the author talks about sugar being 8 times more additive than cocaine. I understand why people suffer from obesity, illnesses or unhealthy symptoms.
Do you want to have a better life and be healthy? Like the title says, take the sugar out of your food. Obesity. Anxiety. Acne. Blood pressure. Diabetes. It could happen to you.
I liked this book because it provides knowledge and encourages you to find support to change your life. There are recipes. The book follow you even for 30 days after your detox. I recommend this audiobook.
