Prologue to Love, Utley
In Love, Utley... We meet Maddox and Hannah years after they lose touch. This book gives us the backstory to their time together in college. It's a meet cute of a shy new girl and the popular college star. We know from Love, Utley that they only knew each a short time before she had to leave college after only a week in attendance. We also know from Love, Utley they shared together was life changing. If you want those details... then read Tackled in the Stacks.
This book was similar to a "prologue" or chapter 1... but with more detail. Had I read this BEFORE Love, Utley... I would've swooned and been excited for this read. However, reading it 2 months AFTER reading Love, Utley... there's no anticipation, just a "cute to know" or a retelling of the memories the two characters shared in Love, Utley but in real-time.
Maybe one day, this will be an all-in-one, so the folks who haven't read either yet will be able to read it in order.

Short and spicy
I know this Is a novella but hell yes did they not mess around and got down to the spice. It’s an adorable meet cute and I love that Maddox seems to be the one who to a looking to her first! I can’t wait for the next one

I'm in love with Hannah and Maddox!
I'm a sucker for anything SJ Tilly has ever written. Worst part about Tackled in the Stacks, is that I wanted it to be so much longer, but at the same time, it was perfect exactly the way it was! Still can't tell if it made me want to cry, or take my pants off... What I do know, now that I finished Tackled in the Stacks, is that I'm about to start 'Love, Utley' again (for the third time!)
ALSO, the voice actors are possibly my favorite of all time.

oH My Goodness! It was everything I wanted it to be!!! Just sad it was over so fast…… Oh Ok.. I guess I’ll re-read Love Utley… again❤️❤️❤️. I love this story and love these characters! SJ Tilly another amazing story!!!

The best!! 👏🏼👏🏼
I loved getting to read about the mystery week between Hannah and Maddox! They had a super sweet meet cute, and it was totally on brand for them. Hannah is as clumsy as ever 😂 gotta love her!
This was the perfect little prequel to the series, and it was fun!
Narrated perfectly by Jacob Morgan and Andi Arndt! 🤩

I could listen to 10 more books about this couple. I Jiao live Hannah and Maddox. And it was so great to get this prequel. Seeing bunny meet mad dog was amazing.

A cute & quick prequel novella to Love, Utley!!
I HIGHLY recommend listening to this one BEFORE Love, Utley! It's a fun, cute and super quick prequel novella to that story. It takes place in college and gives you all the background on Maddox & Hannah's first meeting with all the insta love vibes.
Jacob Morgan and Andi Arndt are once again perfect for these characters as their voices mesh so well together as a couple making them feel realistic and easy to fall in love with! They are a perfect pairing and elevate both this story and Love, Utley! You will definitely immediately want their full story after this!

The Perfect Prequel
This was the perfect prequel to Love, Utley. Now I have to go back and read that book again! SJ Tilly wrote the perfect story, once again!!

College Football star and shy new girl
Absolutely loved this preview into meeting Maddox & Hannah. This gives us insight now their story began before they had to repair and come back together in book 1.
