Just as good as the first

This book is just as good as the first one in the series, and easily read in under a day. Just cannot stop listening to it when I start. The narrator is also perfect for the setting. Cannot wait for the next book in the series

Librarian cool

Great story of a librarians knowledge of ancient books. Fun listenbto. Good reader which makes all the difference.

We like all the glass and Steele books. can't wait for the next one. Marian Gusset is a very good narrator.

The plot thickens

As this most enjoyable story continues, it just keeps getting better. Both writing and narration are excellent. I am eagerly awaiting the the next book and can once again highly recommend!!!

Enjoyable Series of Close-Knit Group of Friends

Interestingly set in London soon after the end of WWI. I enjoy getting to know the people tasked to help solve magic related murders.

The continued story of the people in the book and the mystery they each have

Love the series never get tired of listening to each episode and how each character brings the story to life

A theft and a search

2 weeks since Sylvia started at the library. Gabriel gave Sylvia the name of Mary Anne Fulgate as the last silver magician his family had contact with. When she gives the name to Professor Nash they hunt for an old paper board book in the attic. Oscar Bennett found the document dubbed The Medici Manuscript in his travels with Dr Nash.
Big plot holes! Chapter 3: “I needed to remember that I couldn’t trust this man” after they just trusted him with the priceless Medici Manuscript??? Big Duh! Here’s Your Sign.
The level of editing and marketing elevates this series but this one still needed one more round of editing.

great story

If I'm not paying attention i miss important clues. Then have to start over in order to figure out whats going on. overall love this series so far. it picks up where left off.
