Wonderful story!

I love the story. Although I listened to Rowan's story first, so many things made more sense from that story. I really like the female narrator she did a great job differentiating each character. The guy was not a good match for the Scottish feel, he sounded more Arnold Schwarzenegger in several parts. I wish the female narrator had finished the series instead of switching to the guy.

Loved this!

I went in sceptical as usual but ended up loving this well written saga. I love the Scottish ofc as I am an Outlander fan too. Logan was everything my heart desires and Charlie the strong FMC princess. It had Robin Hood vibes in a perfect balance. Highly recommend.

Love this series!

It’s hard to put these books down once you start them! They become family and you want to know what each one is doing and thinking and what the next move will be. The writers are superb and actors bring the books to life.

Sooooo good. Story is believable with cute tropes and the growth throughout. INVESTED mentally. Think, PG 13 ACOTAR.

Lot's of twists, a lot of action, romance

The books were well written. The story moved at a quick pace. There is romance, but not graphic sexual situations. The narration was a tad boring. The additional last hour of the book, told from the male perspective, was unnecessary.

Great story strong charactera

I liked the plot and its twists. Sometimes, the time shifts in the storyline weren't very smooth, but I was able to follow along well enough. The voice performance was well done. I enjoyed the series.

Everything you need in a book

I listened to the Lochland Fueds first so I knew quite a bit going into reading this but it didn't matter. It pulled me in so fast that even knowing which characters made it to the next series I forgot and got so worried about them and invested. The Lochland Fueds is my new favorite book series, but this is a close second. I loved all the twists and turns. I laughed so many timed and cried. I will say this isn't a book to listen to at work. I listened while taking a trip and the amount of people who gave me weird looks as I snorted or laughed so loud was equally funny. I absolutely loved this book and recommended it to other people right away.

Absolutely engaging story

I am SO glad this series was available as one Audible download. There is so much action and emotion that to switch to the next in the series would have been aggravating.

Charlie and Logan are so full of strength and fire. They both want what is best for their countries, and will sacrifice whatever they must to ensure there is peace. They are the epitome of love.

The story is fantastic journey of discovery, both of who to trust, who is evil, and who can find the love they so desperately want and need in an unstable world.

The performance was excellent.

I definitely recommend this for anyone who loves fantasy.
