Without a doubt the best piece of writing on health anxiety I’ve ever encountered. Brilliant, nuanced and helpful beyond expectation. I spend most of my time listening to this book transcribing paragraph after paragraph, so I should probably buy the hard copy as well. I’ll probably end up underlining more pages than not.

This is so helpful and I know I’m going to listen to this a few more times. There were a few things that were totally mind blowing that I never noticed before. One thing specifically was that if you have anxiety you’re probably a chronic shallow breather. This is something (only until I heard this in the book) I never noticed I was doing. I’m currently working on breathing normally. I had no idea that was even happening, and for how many years?! Who knows. This book is wonderful. If you have anxiety, especially health anxiety, this is a must.

One click away from a new life!
As a life long health anxiety sufferer, this book gave me the power, tools, and resources to no longer identify with this title. Dennis delivers so much knowledge but without making you feel overwhelmed. This book put me at ease knowing I can change my identity, I no longer have to suffer. I feel confident that with the knowledge I've gained and exercises provided by Dennis that I am on my way to a life I only ever dreamed of. Being a life long sufferer lead me to also believe that healing was so far out of reach but not anymore thanks to the Essential Guide to Health Anxiety. I will be forever grateful for this book and for finding Dennis through my journey.

this booked really helped me make some break throughs. nothing else has helped me as much as this book. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! much appreciated
