Book four of the Midlife Demons and Demigods series “Tainted by Magic” is every bit as good as the other three. They changed the narrator from Naomi to Katie Hagaman so I was concerned if it would be as enjoyable to listen to, but she does an excellent job of reading the story. I recommend this series in fact Tia Didmon and Victoria Crawford are good writers so I would recommend reading anything they write.
The audiobook is enjoyable to listen to while you are doing housework, it makes it much more enjoyable.

this is book 4 of the series. I cannot say enough about how exciting the story has been. it's one twist after another in this epic tale.

This part of the story ends on a humongous twist. I really can't wait to get to the next one. Trust me the listener gets invested into the story and you'll want to Binge listen the whole series.

Magic

Book 4 in the Midlife Demons and Demigods series. Each book has been excellent! You can easily pick up the next story from where the previous left off. The author combines paranormal (witches, magic, fae, demons, vampires) with political intrigue of each group, and then add a dash of attractions and human nature. The story is well developed. The characters are unique and interesting. It is a bit fast paced, and I was absorbed from start to finish. I really liked the addition of the good non-violent demons, you just have to love them. I wanted to check out book 5 right away, but was not able to locate it yet. Hopefully it will be on audio soon. Council & Hybrids

Katie Hagaman narrates this installment with so much emotion and nuance. The parts which are full of suspense was well done. I really enjoy the way she performs this series, and so far, book 4 is ramping up the overall plot. I cannot wait for the next one.
