Lori is kick butt

I really like Lori. She was a headstrong character that didn’t take and bull. A female over 40 looking for a new start stumbles on a group that are weary over what trouble she could cause. Rex is determined to keep his group safe but the pull between him and Lori steamed up my kindle.

A sweet read

This is a quick sweet read. The story is about a divorced women/mom Lori who moved to away from the only life she knew to be closer to her son. There she discovers a lot more about herself than she ever knew. The narrator did a good job reading the story but not to good on speaking different voices.

Lori has moved to Eugene to be near her son after leaving Montana when her husband takes off with the hostess of their bar. She is jogging and trying to figure out her health watch when she notices a raven. She follows it to a clearing where she sees men and women turn into wolves. She screams then runs only to fall and hit her head. Rex is the alpha of the pack that shifted. He has his sister do a forget spell on her. When Lori comes around Rex gives her a ride till she sees something familiar since she's new to the area. Later she gets a job in one of his businesses and his pack is not happy. Until one day/night she is harassed and she notices her hands are paws. WHAT!!!???
Elle Sonnali is a gifted narrator that brings life into the characters!.

I loved the whole story!

Meg did a really good with her world and character building in this as well as other books. She certainly knows how to make s villain you love to dislike. I also enjoyed the narrator I think she did a good job as well.

suspense

The story seemed slow to start but once it got going it was great! It was great!

Full of surprises

I loved all the surprises tossed my way, throughout this book. Lori was just trying to survive and put her past behind her. There were lots of obstacles thrown in her direction, I loved how she dealt with them. Rex tried so hard to stay away, but he knew there was no way he could. This book will immediately grab you and not release you even at the end, you will want it to continue. The narrator is awesome.

Shifter romance

Great shifter romance read. I really enjoyed this one from beginning to end. Great characters and very well written. Narrator was enjoyable to listen to on the audio book.

Lori and Rex

Rex finally finds someone and there might be a glitch because she is Human!!! Raw deal!! There is secret stuff going on to make this a good mystery within teh pack. Who can be trusted if they are the authoritive member, right?? Great characters. Others wanting to help. Lori the divorce premenopausal woman who is attracted to Rex. YEAH!!!! Great read. I just might read/listen all the good parts again!! No cliff.

Rex and Lori

I enjoyed listening to Rex and Lori's story it's the first in a new series about mature characters finding love.

Lori's divorced, about to start again at 48 years old and wants to be closer to her son, so she's packed up and left Montana and has moved to Eugene, Oregon for that reason.

She decided to go for a jog but she went farther than she intended and unknowingly trespassed on private property. The property was owned by shifters so it wasn't surprising that she came across one in the throes of his shift into his wolf form.

Unsure and frightened of what she'd seen she ran but fell knocking herself out. When she came to it was to find herself staring into the face of a handsome man with incredible blue eyes. He told her he was Rex. What she didn't know then was that he was a Lion shifter and the Alpha of the Glenwood pack.

Rex's sister (who is also a witch) erases her memories of what she saw and Rex takes her back to her home. That should have been the end of it but then she turns up at the bar looking for a job and he can't refuse her.

The pack is uneasy about her being there but...;...

The story is well-written, and smooth-flowing and is one I enjoyed listening to. The narration by Elle Sonali is good and easy to listen to.
