Revenge by Charlotte!

This was a revenge which Grant Tilbury, Duke of Ravenscroft did not expect. Not in a million years!
And Lady Charlotte Ashbourne was the cause - but actually, it was a legitimate case of 'but he started it first', which children often say when told to stop fighting, for example.
I was so happy when they found their happy ever after - what a relief that was!
This was a deliciously engrossing story, well written into the bargain and I loved every single part of it.
This narrator is unfortunately not my favourite one, however, the rendition was done pleasantly enough.
I have just finished listening to an early copy of the audio version having previously read the book and am quite happy to leave my voluntary review of it.

Great audiobook

Wow this audiobook is great I enjoyed this audiobook a lot the author did a really great job with this novel the Narrator did a great job telling this story I really enjoyed listening to this story.

Sweet Regency Romance

This story is part of the Revenge of the Wallflowers series, a Regency Romance. Charlotte and Grant, the Duke of Ravenscroft's story is sweet, emotional, and engaging, filled with drama, angst, revenge, and slow burn romance. This is a great enemies to lovers romance. Charlie Albers did an excellent job bringing these characters and this story to life. I enjoyed it. I like Amanda Mariel's writing. If you like Regency romance, this one is for you. Victorian times love story

Au Revoir, My Duke by Amanda Mariel and Wallflowers Revenge is a fantastic story of love and revenge. Charlie Albers did a fantastic job with the narration, bringing the story to life. The story is entertaining, interesting, enjoyable, and funny. I like how the relationship between the two characters develops over time. Lady Charlotte and Duke Tibury won’t know what hit them until it’s too late (the love bug). Will their relationship be true? Will Lady Charlotte give up on revenge or will she be able to get her revenge? What will happen in the future? Listen to find out.

Charlotte and Grant

Part of the Revenge of the Wallflowers, Lady Charlotte Ashbourne and Duke of Ravenscroft, Grant Tilbury's enemies to lovers story. Their Christmas story is well written with a very good storyline that held my interest and kept me turning pages. I had to know what would happen and if they would get their happy ending. I enjoyed listening to Charlie Albers narrate their story.

This is a short listen and read. This is Grant and Charlotte's story. What would you do for revenge. Well Charlotte is ready to take down Grant, but can she? Can Christmas magic help them find more thant revenge? Can it help redemption? Follow the story and see what happens.

Great audio

A fasted paced audio story. It's very good with an excellent narrator. Grant must collect all the debts owed to his father as a new Duke. Charlotte is from one of those family's. Filled with anger she seeks revenge but doesn't count on the other steamy feelings that present themselves.

Filled with twists, drama, family issues and more an adventure not to miss.

Wonderful Holiday Story

Grant Tilbury, Duke of Ravenscroft, has done what he had to in order to clean up the mess his father left him. Lady Charlotte Ashbourne’s family is near destitution and ruin because of the Ravenscroft calling in her father’s debt. Charlotte wants revenge against the unfeeling duke. When she confronts him, he offers a compromise. If she will spend Christmastide with him (chaperoned, of course), he will return some of the family’s funds. Sometimes, the picture you have of a person is far from the truth. As Charlotte and Grant spend time together and get to know each other, they come to understand each other. The story has drama, anger, family issues, loss, a few twists, and finally understanding. The is a wonderful heart-touching story with sensitive and caring characters and a lovely happy ending. Enjoyable narration.

Loved the characters ....

Loved the characters, not the narrator. I am a huge fan of any story that does not paint the woman as a damsel in distress. Mariel dared to buck tradition and create a heroine with a fierce personality and determination of heart. Charlotte and Grant are a sassy firework that gets under your skin and sticks to the heart. I cannot say the same about Albers' narration. It was missing spirit. More personality was needed.
