Fantastic & Super Helpful!

Everyone needs this book! I tend to be a bit cluttered and hang on to things that I really don’t need. I feel like I now have permission to get rid of some of the junk in my house.

The book gives you so many good ideas and does it with such wit and humor that you find yourself laughing and agreeing as if the author is speaking directly to you. I also love that it’s not a typical “how to” book. I am doing some of the cleaning all at once, but I think it’s the approach I will be able to take on an ongoing basis to keep things a little more simplified in my life,

I highly recommend it to everyone!

Fantastic advice!

Absolutely loved the succinct, clear advice to approaching the task of clearing your life of unnecessary stress. As a woman who has cleared out my parents home after their passing and downsizing my own life after my husband’s passing, this book would have been a life saver. Now that I am an empty nester and on my own, I am using the ideas and expertise in here to make sure my children will remember me for all the good times we shared and not all the clutter left behind. Special call out to getting your finances and directives in place. That’s a very hard thing to pull together when you’re emotionally exhausted from dealing with a persons passing.

Truly Motivating

Though my house is not cluttered to the eye my closets and storage are a nightmare. This book really made me get motivated to go through everything and get organized. It also gave me a lot to think about and talk to my loved ones about. I love how many ideas are given to get started, know what to keep and how to get rid of what you no longer need. I find it much easier to get rid of stuff when it’s not going to a landfill. I can feel good about helping others. One persons trash is another persons treasure. I also loved the personal stories mixed in. It made this book feel personal. Highly recommend to gain peace in your surroundings

Very Motivating Book!

A practical approach with a step-by-step guide on how to accomplish decluttering your life. It compartmentalizes the different areas of your life that need attention. Easy to understand ideas and suggestions. Puts into perspective that your life can change suddenly, and you may not be prepared for your wishes to be honored. Creating order in the different areas of your life gives you a sense of comfort and peace and reminds you that it’s an ongoing process. The book is very thought provoking and puts a spotlight on things that you have been hanging on to and asks you to think about their importance or relevance. Things that you may not have thought about for many years but continue to keep. It also highlights the importance of having a plan in place for your personal, financial, medical, etc. direction. Decluttering is one of the most freeing things you can do. Sadly, we don’t do it often enough. It encourages you to prioritize the most important things that can affect not only ourselves but others later. This book is very well written, easy to read and lays out a roadmap on how to incorporate these things on an ongoing basis. It has motivated me to start now! It’s a must read and highly recommend!
