Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Story
The book of Enoch was thought to be lost for over 2,000 years until, in 1773, a traveller brought three copies back from Ethiopia. Whether or not this ancient book was actually authored by Enoch, the father of Methuselah and great-grandfather of Noah, is an ongoing debate among historians and theologians. But all recognise the book of Enoch as one of the most important apocalyptic works outside of the Bible.

Story
Finally, a housekeeping and organizational system developed for those of us who'd describe our current living situation as a "f--king mess" that we "really need to get around to fixing one day". Unf--k Your Habitat is for anyone who has been left behind by traditional aspirational systems - the ones that ignore single people with full-time jobs, people without kids but living with roommates, and people with mental illnesses or physical limitations. Most organizational books are aimed at stay-at-home moms and people who seem to have unimaginable amounts of free time.

In her international bestseller The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning Margareta Magnusson introduced the world to the Swedish tradition of döstädning, or “death cleaning”—clearing out your unnecessary belongings so others don’t have to do it for you. Now, unburdened by (literal and emotional) baggage, Magnusson is able to focus on what makes each day worth living. In her new book she reveals her discoveries about aging—some difficult to accept, many rather wondrous.

Great balance, well written, practical and engaging
I am very grateful for this audiobook. The author conveys many philosophical approaches in a clear and simple manner. The tone is very respectful and non-intrusive. I was impressed by the quality of the virtual voice. While there is no substitute for human emotion, the enunciation was very clear and the intonation was acceptable. I would have liked to hear more about the author at the end of the book. I send well wishes.

Swedish Death...Cleaning
The content reads like a mashup of Swedish Death Cleaning, KonMari, and any of several other decluttering methods and self-help books. I even thought it might be AI written it was so disconnected.
The virtual voice was decent, but often missed the cadence of language saying Swedish Death...Cleaning. the pause was a little jarring at first. Add to it the trite content and it felt like a waste of time.
