The house is a wreck and the town is struggling after their biggest employer shut down. Also, since her raccoon-infested home came with a seat on the town council our introverted heroine is stuck with a front row seat to all the small-town shenanigans.

But Hazel isn’t worried. Not since all six-feet-three inches of grouchy contractor Campbell Bishop slapped a bandage on her forehead and unintentionally inspired the heck out of her. There’s only one thing to do: Hire Cam and his equally gorgeous brothers to renovate her new spider museum…er…house.

Okay two things. A fake date for “research purposes” will really put her work-in-progress on track. Before Hazel knows it, she’s writing a romance novel and living one. At least until the drywall dust settles, the town she’s falling in love with faces bankruptcy, and growly Cam remembers why he can’t live happily ever after.

Excellent HEA Story

Lucy Score delivers a great romance story. The reader will fall in love with the characters. The story is very appealing and definitely compelling. By the end of this book, you will wish you could move to Story Lake.

What a great story! These 2 narrators are a favorite pair. Every chapter is a just wonderful!

I love her books. Sebastian York is one of my favorite narrators. He sultry voice adds so much to her characters. Story line was well written and entertaining.

Romcom PERFECTION!

The way I loved this book! It had me laughing till I cried, swooning, and blushing for the spice! The love that Lucy Score put into these characters, the banter, OMG the banter! This story wasn’t just a romcom, it was so much more. Hazel and Cam not only found each other, but found themselves. They were exactly what the other was missing. Zoey was the perfect best friend and cheerleader for Hazel! She was funny, took no crap, and gave hazel a kick in the ass when she needed one. Levi and Gage were the best brothers and sidekicks to Cam. I fell in love with this small town and found family! I want to jump into the book and go to the places described here. I’m scared of birds as much as Zoey so I’ll be staying far away from Goose though. My heart and soul love this book so much! Definitely a 5 star read for me!

LOL funny and it was the cutest love story and with extra spicy moments! Definitely like the knock em out series but I believe this one will be even better!

Best Book I’ve Listened To In A Long Time

Story of My Life was SO good. I’m a huge fan of Lucy’s writing and this one moved to the very top of my list. Well done!
